In 2020, I voted for turning the current basketball / pickleball courts into permanent pickleball courts. My Board set aside money to make this happen and hired a company to complete the work.
When Tim Nargi got on the Board, he stopped the process. Tim claims he is in favor of permanent pickleball courts. He wants you to believe that he has your back. He does not. He had four years to make it happen. He has discussed adding pickleball courts behind the tennis courts. I told him four courts wouldn’t fit there. I was correct. He talked about adding courts to the west of the current location. Again they wouldn’t fit. Tim likes to talk. He doesn’t like to do.
If elected, I will 100% vote to convert one tennis court into asphalt pickleball courts. You have my unconditional support to make this happen. Remember, Dan, Mike and Trisha and Tim voted for the courts. Dean voted against them. Steve Finley, who is running unopposed, is against the courts which will make Tim the deciding vote if re-elected. You will be safe if I am the deciding vote.
If you elect Tim, he won’t make it happen. He thinks you should get more temporary lines and netting on the clay courts. He told you that you do not know how good clay pickleball courts are (click here for his post). How arrogant can someone be to tell you how you should feel and how you don’t know your facts. He also posted on July 22 that voting for pickleball was a mistake. (click here for his post) Tim likes to talk.
I prefer to listen and I hear you. Steve Lockom for pickleball courts!
